Bug Fix: 7/1/16

I just can’t quit you…


Well, now you can! We’ve added a quit button to the games, in the top-left corner of the menu screen, so now you can quickly flip back to the site when you’re done playing.

Remember to please report any problems to the Technical Support Forum. Your browser version is very helpful information if we have to troubleshoot a problem. I'd also like to ask, as a favor, if you could try to replicate a problem so that I know whether it was a strange one-time little bug or whether it is reoccurring for multiple users; this also helps me to sleuth my way to the source of the problem. The more details, the better!

New Items: Sports!

ATTENTION! New item alert!


I heard the word that WE NEED MORE TOYS! So, as your most gracious Arcade master supreme, I have organized some Sports to play! You can now find Soccer Ball and Goal, Basketball and Hoop, and Football and Goal as prizes available for sale in my Arcade shop!

Even better, I told everyone else to get some sports stuff for you too! Tah dah!

Bug Fix: 6/29/16

Keyboard smash!


Wait, no, don’t really keyboard smash! Just use your up arrow key to play Paper Airplane on fullscreen! :) Per shazzbaa’s suggestion, I also added a spacebar = pause command to the game.

Welcome to ALL of our Kickstarter backers! We’ve really cleaned up the place over the past 2 weeks, but there are still a few bugs lurking behind the scenes. If you feel a little lost, we are working on a tutorial, but you can check out the Guides in our Forum in the meantime for help!

Continuing from the previous thread, to include all our backers, I have a question to ask: currently, we have a security check in place that prevents a user from being logged in from multiple locations. This is meant to help prevent two people from trying to play on the same account at the same time - which causes the data to stop updating from one person - or to alert you if someone else logs into your account. However, some users have pointed out that they like having multiple logins across multiple devices - computer, tablet, mobile - so we are considering whether or not to disable this security feature. Please tell us what you think in the comments!

Bug Fix: 6/28/16

Put the quest to the test!


A major update to the Quest Log page has arrived! As some of you may have noticed, we changed the organization to make it a little clearer. Quests are now sorted into an Active tab, which has all of your in-progress quests grouped together, and by type: Hourly, Daily, and Story. As the name suggests, Hourly and Daily quests are repeatable quests that refresh every hour/day. Story quests, on the other hand, are unique and can only be completed or rejected once!

The auto-restock timer was causing strange bugs, so we have found a replacement code that creates a Restock button instead. Now you should be able to have tabs open in as many places as you want without worrying about weird timer issues!

We’ve also modified the Kith names so that there is now a 15 character limit on names. I understand that this is a bit restricting - sorry xxSasukeUchiha1994xx - but it should help prevent some bugs we were noticing on the alpha servers from infecting our beta servers.

You may notice that all confirmation buttons now show “Processing…” after you click on them and before the request has finished processing. This should fix all the bugs that were occurring because of accidental double-clicks!

Just in case it doesn’t, however, we’ve added a simple error page! Iris is as sorry as we are that the site breaks sometimes! :C

As has been requested by multiple users, we’ve vastly increased the character limit on Forum titles! (thanks superbearwars!) We’ve also added Help tabs to the shop pages as well.

Bug Fix: 6/27/16

Game on!


A major update to games is here! I’ve finished up the error message code, so now we have a little more help when troubleshooting. There are 4 types of error messages:

no authentication: The authentication is the random code at the end of the game URL, which is generated anew each time you open the game. Usually this error message happens because you opened a link from the wrong URL, so try clicking on the Fullscreen/Mobile buttons on the site to solve this.

invalid authentication: This means your authentication is outdated, which usually happens because you’ve got multiple tabs open or you used a bookmark to get to the game. Try reopening the game via the Fullscreen/Mobile buttons on the site. Note: sometimes you will still be able to receive rewards even with this error message, such as if you have multiple tabs open! I’m working on a way to make this ONLY show up when you’re not receiving rewards.

no user id: This means you have no recognizable user, so you probably got logged out. Try logging back in and reopening the game via the Fullscreen/Mobile buttons on the site.

timeout: Your connection is not fast enough to receive updates from the game to give you rewards! :( Check your network settings and try again. On mobile, we recommend playing over wifi or 3G and up.

Paper Airplane has also received a new button on mobile: Half-Jump Mode. This mode changes the input from “a single touch” to “a single tap” to cause the paper airplane to bounce upwards. Some users were having difficulty with double-jumps instead of single jumps, so this will halve those into single taps and make the game work for them as well as mobile users who do not have the double-jump problem.
